Waist-hip ratio and IQ

Large Image

Women with wide hips and a low waist-hip ratio have been shown in a study to be smarter and have smarter kids. William Lassek at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Steven Gaulin of the University of California, Santa Barbara, found that curvy women consistently outscored their skinny counterparts in cognition tests, and also that a child's cognitive performance was directly linked to their mother's waist-hip ratio. The study relied on data of more than 16,000 women from the US National Center for Health Statistics.
Children whose mothers had wide hips and a low waist-hip ratio scored highest, leading Lassek and Gaulin to suggest that fetuses benefit from hip fat that contains polyunsaturated fatty acids critical for the development of the fetus's brain.
The findings were published by Evolution and Human Behavior scientific journal.

Interesting!

I'd read previously that of the four main female body types, the hourglass type typically lives the longest. More evidence for the supremacy of this recently neglected (in favor of little boy bodies) body type, and further explanation as to why men find a voluptuous hourglass body inherently more attractive.

Unfortunately, thanks to the dilution of words such as "curvy" and "voluptuous", that ever vociferous species Homo Cetus Bipedalis will inevitably attempt to appropriate the concept of curvaceousness in favor of the obese.

Wow, Talk about

Wow, Talk about uncorrelating data.

You know that all these "studies" need more than one fucking test and objective confirmation before anyone can consider it remotely viable.

Personally I'm just fapping to the brain hips...
